with great respect - the title of the piece should have been 'Jarrod Sammut,Masterclass' - he ran the show - first half we looked positive and gave away a silly try to Samutt but apart from that the play was expansive and good on the eye despite the cold & windy conditions - second half TR changed things round and we were given the run-around by Sammut,Thomas (who was brilliant for the 80 minutes) & co - a couple of consolation tries at the end made the score look rather flattering
Good displays from Dureau,Blanch,Sa,Baille & Vaccari especially but the feature for me was seeing the new Chan - Lopina Paea he looked awesome and brought back memories of our Alex - he will be a big favourite with the fans.Thought Cyril did ok at FB with only one hiccup throughout

the day belonged to Sammut - he was worth the entrance money alone and it's only a matter of time till he goes to bigger things,maybe sooner than we think...

had to sit through the Montpellier massacre where even Carlos Mendes Varela looked a decent player ! Well done again to Escaré who gets better with every game - it was embarrassing at times but full credit to the visitors who never stopped trying.

J-P had a good game and linked up well with Dureau,Gigot & Martins - pity they didn't all play the full 80 IMO - it would have made the game less boring what with all the changes etc in really cold conditions - no wonder the locals were leaving after 60 minutes...totally bored...
Iestyn kept the same team basically for the 80 including MOM Sammut & Thomas etc
