In the sad event that Salford have to start selling to keep trading, sounds like the clubs will have a vote to decide whether Salford players will be exempt from salary cap and quota restrictions. Suspect we would vote against hull and hull kr for What do we think ?

I should think those that want a player will vote for, those that don't will vote against. But it's more about player welfare. If they don't do it they are forcing an employer to terminate a contract but restricting where that employee can gain new employment.

Clubs have voted against dispensations for both cap and quota for Salford players, which probably goes in our favour if we are interested in any players. Interestingly, Salford voted for it themselves, which I guess indicates they are willing to let plenty go. Clubs that are thought to have cap space along with ourselves are Cas, Hudds, Hull FC and Wire, the rest are at cap.

See the caveat the RFL have put in is they are open to other proposals …….
