Will they replace him? All the noises were that we are over-stacked with second rowers, perhaps its releases Dane and perhaps opens a door for Joel the Dog Man?

We'll miss his ability to fill in at centre and his pace on the wing. Truth is, though, that we don't need Sa, Menzies and Carlaw to compete with all our other second rowers - we will miss him but I don't think he will be missed ... um, if you see what I mean.

think I get your drift belgian,have to agree Dane was one of the most consistent players for me during 2010 - it's a sad loss IMO

gets the job done and mr dependable , very nice guy and am upset about it also. if it is to free up money for Monaghan, i would of let go of sa , especially with his off field problems and hasn't set the world on fire .

I can't imagine anyone disagreeing with anything you stated Dave - he's a great guy,dependable on the pitch and Mr reliable when called upon,surprised the Bulls haven't been on to him - can't see the point of keeping Sa personally - in the games i've seen him play he's been on the periphery of the game without really taking control,or am I being too harsh ?

Agree about Sa, don't see the point in having him in the squad unless he's willing to play SO (which he isn't). Maybe he's got the usual NRL problem coping with the pace of SL and will come good next year?

a bit of an enigma for me cos' Sa can be brilliant one minute then ordinary for the other 79 minutes - hope you're right belgian,maybe TR can get the best out of him both on & OFF the pitch...

Is it really a big loss? Carlaw always struck me as a steady Eddie and a good pro, and the fact that he stood out last season was probably more indicative of the appalling standard of the rest of the team than anything else. His selection on the wing was a laughable example of Walters' incompetence.

yeh,couldn't quite figure that one out either HH but your assessment of Dane is correct - tho' how anyone can weigh up a game from the tactical point of view from behind the posts at ground level must have a problem IMO !

how many matches do they really think they,ll get out Fakir , we all hope all season, but reality is probably not alot
i don,t mind new faces, but losing players like Elima and Dane is tough
Lets hope TR knows what he's doing or its going to be a very very long season.

quite right Dave,according to the 'League Express' he's training with his brother and the est at the Wires to keep fit and will make his decision after the xmas break
