Quote The hard work can start on Monday for the Catalans Dragons. The number will be operational and in full effect. The squad will then have two months to oil and beef up its game
The preparation of Dragons continues at three to four workouts per week. While the squad is still not attack, it will not be until Monday with the arrival of international and especially newbies. The playground of the High-Vernet will fill Monday.
Until then, "with this group, we work the individual address, the speed and pace, this Trent Robinson, the coach of the Catalans. With him yesterday morning, David Ferriol, Gregory Mounis, Scott Dureau, Setaimata Sa, Cyril Gossard, William Barthau, Sebastien Martins, Damien Blanch.
Sebastien Raguin, in recovery, and Thomas Bosc who must pass an MRI on Monday for his crack at the patellar tendon, are provided.
"On Monday there will be everyone. We train in thirty reinforced with some youth. We begin this general recovery in the race, with particular work on speed and mobility, we will focus also on the address, individually and in groups, has scheduled the coach. The next day, Robinson will be more in the concrete.
"We will begin working together on the system of attack and defense that I want to implement. "
Right mindset
It is of course far too early to say that the pre-season preparation pays off, but Trent Robinson has been able to get an idea of the mood of his troops: "I am very satisfied. So of course it will, increasingly, work detail, but the players know it. They are improving all invested and new, Dureau and Blanch fit well. In short, in a word, the mood is "good. "
The road is still long sweat for the Dragons before they can unleash their fury. To calibrate because they play two friendly matches. The first in Toulouse against the TO XIII will be January 22. The second should be scheduled on January 29. "We seek a team of Super League to play Brutus," said Trent Robinson. It will take at least that to get reinforced in February.
The cold season coming, but no question as to hibernate. Ben Farrar, who arrived yesterday will be followed tomorrow by Ian Henderson, Lopini Paea, Steve Menzies and Jason Baitieri.

Bit more on how pre-season has been going... usual source of L'Independant.
Quote The Catalans Dragons have completed their training at altitude at noon. Yesterday was dedicated to weight training, ball games and the fight before individual interviews throughout the afternoon. The Dracs are entitled to ten days holiday on Wednesday.
It was yesterday morning commando courses far from Mont-Louis or Collioure which has already been made the Dragons in their pre-season campaigns. The group is certainly in training, but it is not just a matter of cohesion and integration of new ones. Proof. Thursday and Friday, the head section of the pole hope struggle, Benedict Schuller who is also coached the national team of young (female) has provided technical sessions and muscled to the Dragons.
Nicolas Bourrel, the fitness dispensed advice in terms of weightlifting under the watchful eye of Keegan Smith.
For Laurent Frayssinous, details techniques learned during these two days are very rich in teaching: "Let's become a habit, we are interested in these little techniques required to win offensively and defensively."
The former flyhalf of the France team also expects his players to get comfortable in their bodies more easily, "Trent Robinson's approach is really different, it focuses on the players and their reactions. He does a lot of the individual in relation to his attitudes, his mental and the psychological trait of all. The fight also allows players to properly judge the limits of their bodies. "
Last month the Australian coach of "blood and gold" was passed psychological tests its players. He then sent the results to specialists.
Individual interviews
Yesterday afternoon, the players have had four interviews. Robinson then discussed the results and approach of the players from the club. The two assistants, and Frayssinous Guisset listened to the players and their motivations. Keegan Smith talked about nutrition and Christophe Levy's club bylaws. The group was diminished by the absence of Bosc and Duport who are in rehabilitation, Ahalalou that just to remove a wisdom tooth and finally, Eloi Pelissier who has joined his teammates yesterday after playing with the team de France in Toulouse on Thursday night. Only new Jamil rewarded for his good performances with the reserves. The Dragons put great emphasis on the fight, a confidential discipline in the UK that can offer a small advantage over plating techniques and ground work.
This morning, when snow permits, it will snowshoe biathlon course to avoid unpleasant surprises. Trent Robinson then regain his players Tuesday and Wednesday before sending everyone in their families for a planned resumption Monday, January 3 to "Brutus."
