| At 17? I agree he does look a talent, but rushing them through wont do the youngsters any favours at that age.

I didn't realise he was only 17, that's young for a half-back to play at this level.
Anyone who watches him regularly, how would you say he compares to the likes of Myler, Eastmond, Wheeler and Tomkins?

| Having watched reserves games he handles himself well From what I can see his ball distribution is excellent, a smart player, with an great kicking game. compares well with other halfbacks, is young yet though, but lots of potential, which the staff at warrington will hopefully develop.

More of a ball handler than the rest. Doesn't have the speed of Myler or Eastmond, but his pass selection is pretty tidy.

| The young halfback is a smart player and creates for others on a regular basis and has scored some good trys...There are quite a few players at reserves that could step up in time and they have good coaching staff, especially now John Bastian has joined the club from Leeds. Alot are young though and will need time develop. There are Centres, wingers and some good second rowers as well as halfbacks.... So hopefully in the future they will be given the opportunity...

| Gareth O'Brien is playing scrumhalf for the Academy tomorrow at Wilderspool v Bradford, kick off 2.30pm. Lots of other very highly rated youngsters should feature too, such as Rhys Evans, Ryan Shaw, Ben Evans and look out for Bradley Brennan too.
Get down there - should be a cracking match, relive some of those "Zoo" memories whilst you are there too!
