It was obvious he'd throw a couple of poor passes after being out for 5-6 weeks, but IMO he was more of a threat than Diskin who was pass left pass right and was average after a great start to the season.

why, why?

It is his first proper game for 6 months give him a break!

Not a bad effort today from Danny Buderus his passing and timing were a little off but i'm sue that will come with a bit more match fitness and game time...

He looked off the pace today, despite you all telling me he'd own The King if he played.

I guess Leeds are hoping he comes good, but he could easily turn out to be another legendary NRL crock.

Thought a big mistake to play him.Can't recall a run from dummy half so if thats down to match fitness should not have played.

I remember at least 3!!

Diskin was the one without the dummy half runs, he was more safe that Buderus, but lacked flair, Buderus however gave us a slight Roby dimension with his runs and I can remember 2 in the first set!

No. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to and a true legend of the game.

Give him time - a lot wrote Donald off his first season. Just hope the bloke has finished with his bad run of injuries and can concentrate on getting match fit now

Don't have a problem with the bloke and he probably will end up making a real impact. Just don't think today was the day to start back on the road to match fitness. To be fair he did okay but I wouldn't say he set HQ alight.

Thought Saints were miles better than us today. We are looking a little short on real strike power. I have thought for a couple of seasons that our back line was a bit 'thin' and without Senior (who certainly can't perform week in week out these days although I thought he went pretty well today) we look really ordinarly across the threequarters. I can see us getting caught out a fair few times this year - just like we were today.

Think we missed Smith and Bailey and I really think we are missing a like for like replacement (in class terms) for Ellis. Ali looked anything but fit and Burgess was a bit flat/out of his depth. Ablett looked good and we should probably have had him in the centres...Gibson and Watkins? Not nearly ready for this level. Gibson probably can make the grade but he is by no means the finished article.

At the final whistle he gave the king a huge hug. SHows the respect he has for the king and vice versa.

Buderus didn't have a great game today but niether did any other Leeds player. He wasn't any worse than Diskin and as long as he stays clear of injuries will only improve. I dont think it was a bad move from McClennan to play him.

He was better than Diskin today and his passing is much more fluent.

ATEOTD Saints were by far the bettr team and no one man is to blame. Thats the top and bottom of it.
