| But it was poor, thought there was a sprinkle of good performences,Misi ran with the ball well and looked solid under the highball,Bergin did a solid job again and could be our surprise package for the rest of the season,Keep him in for the Keighley game and get some tries under his belt,Craig Cook played well and i thought trevor Exton had a very good game ran hard and some decent offloads,I'm struggleing to see what Peter Green is adding to the team,He doesnt seem to make any yards and missed a tackle to let Bryn Powell in,I made the same accusation before about Szostak but being closer to the pitch at games i realised what he gives for the team,Green doesnt seem to do anything whether your sat at the don valley or sat in front of the TV or close up at the lane.Credit for the fact 3 games in 8 days is tough. The backs need to start firing and that needs to happen next week,We need to put on a show for the cameras and put 50 past the cougars with freeflowing rugby.

| Agree about the backs, the forwards are working their socks off, time for the backs to get more involved!

| Given the team were virtually out on their feet by the end after three games in eight days I'll gladly take that result. A bit harsh on Dewsbury who were good on the night and I've no idea how they've lost them all. Ref was not great, lot of petty decisions but it's Ronnie so we should expect nowt less. Error count was a little high but to be expected if your playing so often. Honourable mentions to Misi who dealt with the high balls well and Tim Bergin who's kick return and control were excellent. Bergins done well these last two games, he's had his critics (HL) but he earned the bottle of bubbly tonight. Need a full rest and recharge for next Thursday when we can really let rip if the attitude is spot on.

| Couldn't make the game but did watch on Sky and agree totally with Dr B
3 games in just over a week is a lot for PT players.
Dewsbury did very well and with the rub of the green could have won the game.
Sky team were a bit off form with Terry O calling Dom - Brambeeeeni and also Tim Berrigin. Plus Bill Arthur called Dews Sheffield more than once.
As for the last minute penalty - I'm sure Warren Jowett will have dealt with that and the guy ought to be thankful that Karl Harrison isn't his coach as I suspect that his Jacobs would be hanging from the crossbar this morning

| Terry O had bigger problems, he was on crutches. He hobbled past us mid pint of coke to get to the commentary box (which took up almost the entire terracing side of the ground).
Three main things cost Dewsbury in the game: The missed conversion (relatively easy one) when they had just scored at 20-20, Brambo's knock on (but thats his fault as he wasnt looking at the ball when trying to catch it), and whoever gave away the penalty for kicking the ball away.
Its a shame for them as they played really well but those things will cost you. So thats our "Get out of Jail free" card used for this year. Lets no run it so close next time eh?

Not sure that Warren Jowett is a much better option.
Patch Walker's your man.

I went to the game, god their pitch is shocking. I thought we were gonna lose, what a buffoon that guy were, but just prior to that there was a knock on n they did the same but it was missed by Laughton. I thought we looked knacked in the second half, great to have won it, well done to all.

| It couldn't have been me, I prefer to Keep myself to myself at matches, always shying away remaining quiet. It'll have been my sister, she's the noisey one. I was chatting wi Chris and we were saying how we didn't hold much hope in us staying at BL. He thought we might end up playing at the ground Sheffield fc are having built. That would b just lovely. I like BL but a 10,000 seater would b much better. I guess we'll just have 2 wait n see

| Why do you think our stay at BL won't last...? I liked it there, yes im a new supporter because of it but i've watch RL for years, and been at every ground in SL and BL is a brilliant ground, cut above most, understand it's too big but if it could have test match, challenge cup semi's, WCC etc then great!
Also what are Sheffield FC having bulit? I know they place at coach and horses, about 2000 capacity..?
But I didn't think they was moving anywhere anytime soon.

The Coach and Horses ground only holds about 1200, and it's in Derbyshire. I think they're looking at building a new ground on Olive Grove? As you say though, I don't think it will be done anytime soon.
