| Lots of movement around the domestic league ahead of the new season. Nathan Wynn to Lézignan is the big one and he's joined by Phillip Leuluai. Mathieu Albérola joins from ASC, but Adel Fellous has gone to play union. I give it a month.
Luke Swain joins ASC along with Mourad and Hosni Kriouache from Toulouse. Gareth Dean moves to Limoux from ASC and Aaron Wood leaves the Grizzlies for Avignon where he's joined by ex-Cronulla back rower Brett Kelly (two letters from greatness) and Dean Amos is back as coach. It's not all one-way from Limoux though: Daniel Wagon is back, this time as coach.
Artie Shead and Mathieu Mayans have also joined the Limoux exodus, both heading to Pia who will be coached by ex-ASC man Patrick Albérola and he's taking long-standing lieutenant Christophe Moly with him. They've lost the try machine that is Jared Taylor to union.
Said Tamghart joins Carpentras and, finally, Montpellier become the 10th side for next season.
Fixtures are out, the kick off is September 28/29. I'll have them on the site soon.
And I'm done

Wasnt aware he was only 22. that signing is good news IMO, have watched him play for FCL in england a few times and always been impressed with his work rate for such a big feller, looking forward to seeing him prgress further.

| 22 yo Prop is a good signing, but will he be able to step up to the level of Prop we desperately need. A big ask of a young new signing.

I think you would have to say he isnt going to be up to the level of player we should be looking for and I hope the club are still looking for someone else up front for next year.

Oh, it's one for the future rather than the Ryles/Chan character we've obviously lacked this season.

| Speaking of Limoux, they're turning into Wales B. Dean joined by Geraint Davies and Anthony Blackwood.

Good, I reckon ol' Judas has a couple good playing years in him yet. Tbh though, I would rather have seen Kane move to wakey.

yeh,he's still a useful player, far too good for the LER (Villeneuve at least !) and there's still time for Kane to move to SL after the LER season with Lezignan maybe ?

No. Close the book on them now.
I just hope they can afford all these players and don't do a Leeds Utd

| speaking to people connected with Lezignan, the money doesn't seem to be a big problem - to answer a previous question from John_D,the finance comes from a whole host of well established businessmen in the area some from the Narbonne area (just down the road).
Most of the imports will live in Narbonne cos' Lezignan is pretty dead but it's great redeeming factor is it's intense pride and fervent support for it's team of rugbymen
Their aspirations are to join the Championship - the support would certainly be there

An Aude super-club playing out of the Domec would be a better option than FCL going it alone. It was certainly being talked about in the recent past.

| it's to do with money of course - it's human nature for a pro or semi-pro to get the best deal possible while he's still able to make a living in whatever level of sport
the NR cup is important of course to the french clubs tho' I can't imagine how many british based clubs are happy to travel to france unles they are heavily subsidised by the rfl etc
regarding the 'Aude super club' - it could work if the inter-club rivalries à la Wakey & Cas could be resolved - The Stade Albert Domec IS a great stadium with a 10,000 capacity plus the airport has regular links to the uk of course
