I'm poorly sick today so I'm having a couch day. I'm catching up with some stuff I've recorded, how scary is Derren Brown? Did anyone watch his latest experiment series? Basically he has created an amnesiac assassin through hypnosis & suggestion like the CIA allegedly used in the 60's. The man is a Witch or an Alien a Wizard. Yes, a very powerful Wizard.

I went to see him in Salford a year or so ago, was really good, definitely makes you wonder how the hell he does it.

I would love to see him. I knd of understand some of the suggestion & subliminal message stuff he does but it's still freaky. He programmed a guy to assassinate Stephen Fry & then forget he'd even done it.
In the programme he kept referring to the guy who shot Robert Kennedy, Sihran Sihran. He, (Sihran) claims he has no memory of shooting Kennedy or of some of the weeks leading upto the shooting. He's also had 14 appeals for release turned down due to lack of remorse.

I believe what he does is real, I'm pretty sure he would have been discovered as a fraud & plastered all over the tabloids if it wasn't.
The hypnosis thing intrigues me & freaks me out at the same time. One of my bezzies has had a hypnotic gastric band fitted to help her shift a stone before her holiday in Jan. She's down from a size 16 to a 14 in just over a month. I'm not 100% convinced she wouldn't have achieved that with out the hypnosis, but if it works, it works.

After watching it I don't believe the people he involves are all plants, he hypnotised a girl sat next to me and if she was a stooge she played a great part and kept it up all the way into the car park and drove off.
I do think a fair bit of it is parlour tricks tho' and he will admit it as well. He did the sceance thing when I went and it was very clever how it was done.
I spotted a lot of the subliminal stuff on the way in, but its still impressive to watch.

I've seen him twice, the first time a couple of years ago he must have hypnotised me because when i went to see him the next time it was the same show I'd seen the year before.
