Apparently we have not won at Spotland since 2014...we were in the Championship at the time.
I have seldom watched us win there and have left that ground twice after 20 odd minutes in disgust.

Unless the team decide to buck their ideas up especially in the first half they will get well beaten at Rochdale who in my book are favourites for this fixture.

I suspect the bookies will make this a close call, as do I at this stage of the season.

Either side getting 8 or more points start would look a good bet to me but I'd be surprised if that happens.

Two ugly wins , but I would happily take a third.

Last year we would have lost both games after going behind in the manner we did, however on two occasions we have pulled the proverbial rabbit out of the hat to snatch the win.

I think we will see a few changes with knowles and Burns coming back into the team, and maybe Tali if fit to play.

As pointed out Spotland is not a happy hunting ground for The Dons so I am going for an 8 point win.

The majority on fb have been utterly brainwashed by the management of the club and have been sent as ground troops to spread the message of do not question the regime, I've said it before but it's definitely akin to a cult, pretty sure if Carl told them it's Wednesday today they would believe it. If you don't push and strive for better you become stale and we've been like this for close to 7 years and the same people are still employed by the club! Absolute madness

Excellent win is that despite me doubting the result. Very pleased for the squad and especially Jack Sanderson who looks like he is now comfortable with his game.

We went, oddly enough, and had a right laugh on 'cake day'.
Nobody was eating cake, but I was eating humble pie....
Should have posted 50 with the chances we made but bombed a load.
Rochdale are a very young side and will improve, so we met them at the right time.
Ben Johnston was hobbling and the lack of Boas and Tali was very marked.
So the Dons are still not fully performing, for the same old reasons.

We don't look the finished article by a long way, but I see signs that when we click we will be hard to beat.

On a number of occasions we looked good with ball in hand and our line defence was excellent.

Credit Rochdale ,they never looked like they would win the game, but they made us work hard for our victory , I'm sure that they will claim a few scalps along the way this season .

Hopefully we can put in a good performance on Sunday and keep building for the weeks ahead when our metal will be well and truly tested.

Rochdale and Hunslet were two teams I feared, however Sunday will be a realistic view of where we stand with regards to promotion as plenty of pundits think Workington will be in the top two.

I think we'll rest people again this week, like Johnston if there is any doubts
