Looking at the other games this weekend, we could do with Keighley winning at Workington, Bradford must beat Whitehaven. It's hard to see Oldham or Hunslet dropping points.

With Whitehaven get best yesterday a win today would take us back into the play off spots on points difference

Keighley and Newcastle both out of the race. On total rl though apparently Newcastle are set up to be a Super League side. Nonsense. 1 league one side is currently capable of that and we all know who. Well done York but don't get carried away. Newcastle are certainly no closer than Doncaster. Steady away and no getting carried away, that is a decent score away to a team who have been resurgent of late. Can't be easy playing in this heat. Well done to all the players and staff.

Fair assessment

Coventry played some good rugby, we were well drilled and controlled. The trialist Madani looks unfit but he is a big unit who likes to offload and I thought he had a decent spell when he was on the field.

Thanks for that Baz. I wondered how the Madani had done.
