If Club Doncaster are serious about RL in Doncaster , it has to make some changes.

First remove CH from his post also GT , these 2 people have been responsible for recruitment of players for 2016 , D-Reg & the strength in depth at half back are the main reasons for my view.

Carl has done a lot of good work keeping the Dons alive but I think the time has come for changes !

I will carry on supporting the club by attending matches but I will have to think about putting money into the club in after the end of the season.

Please ,what do other posters feel , I know there are not many !

To be honest with you, I'm not surewhat the alternative would be, Carl clearly has the best interest of the Dons at heart, whether he actually gets the backing he says he gets, only he knows, somehow I doubt it. I have been willing to give club Doncaster a fair chance, they appear to be failing, but again, what's the alternative?

What we could do with is a Marwan Koukash-type who's prepared to plough a load of cash in. I don't think there are too many around in Donny, especially with a liking for RL.

With dwindling attendances and negligible publicity and profile for League 1, it's really going to take a massive turnaround.

I'll take my hat off to anyone who can turn it around.

I think all talk of 2017 should begin after the present campaign has ended although speculation is inevitable. Give 100% support to the club for the remaining six games. Players will come back from injury and suspension so all is not yet lost.

This is NOT just about the 2016 season , its about our time under the Club Doncaster umbrella. I think we have been told some untruths re budgets etc. Carl is just an employee but the money spent in my humble opinion has not been spent wisely.
We are clearly the poor relations ,even though Rovers in the bottom division of the Football League .

I made a post on Sunday and took it down in case I had it wrong and therefore for legal reasons I removed it. I will try to summarise from memory. My understanding is that the previous management structure could not take the Club any further financially. An approach was made to Club Doncaster and the Dons was bought out. The sum I think was £100k. Nowt to do with us were that went and to who. Carl Hall was kept on because he is the face of The Dons and for his knowledge etc etc.

I sincerely believe we need a new face of the club and it is time for Carl Hall to step down and I agree with Weighman here, take the Coach with you. Thanks for the time and effort but we need a fresh outlook IMO. I know that Club Doncaster are not a hire them fire them set up but we really need a restructure. Something fresh IMO.

as far as I can see we wont exist in 2017, where will the money come from ?. the crowds are now down to the bare bones, this seasons fixtures are a joke fans have wasted their money on second rate no 5th rate rugby, weve on had 3 competative games and lost 2 of them. weeks with no games, toronto have already won top spot so we will be playing for second place, not going to happen. I have always been possitive over the many years in following the dons even through very tough times, I just dont want to do it any more. I see nothing wrong with you voicing your opinions and concerns, it's a forum about Doncaster Rlfc, and you are entitled to have your say, I tend not to post anymore because I was told I was not entitled to an opinion, and not particularly welcome, but I will continue to attend games, because I enjoy it....mostly
