Hi All
Just to let everyone know each monday for the forseable future we will be running a social touch rugby league competition at Ted Gleave memorial sports ground (west bank)
The sessions started last night with some really good touch rugby being played and fun had by all.
We are hoping to increase the number of people each week with the overall aim of running a competitive league through next summer,
The sessions are open to anyone aged 16+ both male and female
we are open to teams, groups of people or individuals to come along and give it a go.
touch rugby is a minimal form of the sport, it is a really fast flowing and fun version of rugby league without the aches and pains of the full contact version,
Touch rugby is also a great way of keeping fit and can also help lose those extra unwanted pounds,
This initiative is a joint project between Halton service area and the RFL.
