No, you won't be the only one. He's a professional sportsman, there are sacrifices that have to be made. With a bit more 'planning' he could have been at home for the birth.

Baby was early and with only being away for 30 odd hours ish figured he'd chance it. I'd of thought naughton to have come in if it had come to it. Another bonus of a chartered flight (although it didn't help him in the end). He'd never have gone if the usual set up had been in place

I don't think their baby has the ability to apologise for being early just yet... *sarcasm sign*

Didn't Danny Houghton miss a game for the same reason and certain people on here criticised that?

I support the player's decision but it's a good job we won and Jamie played well. Now has anyone suggested naming the kid Gilbert Brutus so no one will ever forget?
