| So we lose Paea but gain Taylor to go alongside Watts, Green and Bowden and possibly Feka if theres room on the cap. Ellis was possibly moving into the front row too but personally i wouldnt include him any of the pack as theres a big question mark on if he'll even be playing next year.
To me this still looks light and will have the same failings as this year. Green and Bowden have had their chances and for me dont cut it so we need one maybe two new forwards

| I'm pretty sure Ellis will play again, but there's also the option of Pritchard up front too (not ideal but possible).

It would be an absolute waste of a wide running second row to play him at prop.

| Tbh, I think Chris Green has been ok since coming back from injury. Seems to be running with a bit more purpose. Still think for his size and frame he could add some more bulk

| This whole bash green thing is getting monotonous. Hes been pretty good for a while now.
Bowden had been decent for the previous weeks also.
watts n taylor do big mins. Around that we'll do fine with ellis bowden green, possibly feka and even thompson imo.Not sure on how BTW been going?

| Bowdens defence is top notch. Players stop like theyve hit a wall. Just offence is very basic. But had been better of late. Green had top metres per carry again the other night. Not an unfamiliar tale this yr. Also ive noticed him pop some outrageously good offloads out last few games. His height and frame always meant he was going to take a while to fill it out and get some physical dominance in his game. Hes getting there imo.
also noticed in 17 games hes made 2 errors and conceded 2 pens. Decent and useful stats

Think we've struggled to get BTW a meaningful game, he played for Oxford last weekend, scored a try too!
Watts
Taylor
Ellis
Green
Bowden
BTW
These already signed up for next year, possibly add Feka and it's certainly not the worst to be going in with.

| Wonder if Paea's move could be scuppered now Stone has been sacked by Newcastle . Knights looking at a big clear out for next season but some players still have deals to run for longer .

Possibly, but it may mean less game time and a longer career if he gets spelled on the front row.
I know we're looking at next season, but anyone else think the starting props shouldn't be Watts and Paea and one of those should be interchange with Bowden or Green starting instead?

| No coincedence that we are often a lot weaker and lose a lot of our go forward when Watts and Paea go off and are replaced with Bowden and Green? Maybe this could be offset with playing Green or Bowden from the offset and bringing one of Watts or Talyor on but Radford doesnt seem to want to play this way

| I actually thought bowden looked good on Thursday before his injury. He put in a great run shortly before it (May even have been injured getting tackled from that run). Seems to be picking up a lot of injuries though. green is OK in what he does but he doesn't do enough of it. He needs to be playing more minutes and putting more into games. As it stand, paea and watts do about 60% of the graft and the other 3 do the other 40%

| There's 160 minutes of prop in a game. Watts, Taylor & Ellis could do that themselves tbh.

| i would be interested to know what people think the likes of bowden and green compare to some of our past front rows like dowes, higgins and thackray (not the absolute 1st choice men like omeley, lynch and carvell)

Id compare Green to McNicolas and Bowden to, well nobody tbh. Hes the epitomy of average and one of the reasons we are where we are. I doubt he'd even get a club in the championship. One decent run a game (and we dont always get that) is Hitro Okesene territory

Don't talk silly, he is a solid prop, who so far hasn't lived up to his potential so far, bit injury prone aswell. Did really well in the games that Paea missed, but needs to be more consistent.
He will get signed by a few lower SL teams aswell as every championship club if available.
The props aren't a big problem for Hull if used correctly.
We are 2nd to Leeds in metres made, so forwards are generally doing there job.

I dont rate him Dave. Hes been playing first team two years + now and how many great games has he had? How many moments where hes amazed as i cant remember any and before you ask between sky, going to games even if it isnt may these days, highlights and press ratings i draw my opinion
Dowes was miles better. Bigger minutes. Better defense, Braver, Gave a lot more
