My opinion is Pitts is too good to be playing for Doncaster. However, it just shows our strength in depth when we have players like him who are having to go out on duel registration.

Match fitness is great and Donny have two good players playing for them.

People like to think something is going on and it's all scheme and whatever but we had Ellis and Whiting in the 2nd row and they went all okay.

Just not enough places for the squad we have at the minute it's a good thing about time we had cover, it's a long season.

I'd look at this as a positive thing, match fitness and confidence for the players to actually be playing after a week of training can only be beneficial. I wouldn't change the 17 next week but maybe Pitts and Hadley are players he sees breaking in when the time comes and by giving them some competitive games will help them slot into the 1st team if and when they are called up and this is to help them be more prepared than if they were sitting in the sands each weekend. Same with Arundel if we get an injury in the backs.

Can't see the point of him going there tbh

It's a bit mixed for me.

On the one hand, he's going to be getting regular playing time against Super League standard opposition, much better than he would get in the u19s or on Dual-reg.

On the other hand, he's now at a club that's really in the mire, will finish bottom by a mile, and who I can't see improving so it's not going to be the best experience for him.

seymour didn't feature for cas today, depending on their pecking order he may be available for a loan

can you loan quota/non fed players?

Depends. I've not personally seen much of him, but what I've heard is that he's a bit similar to Houghton in that his strength is running from dummy half rather than his distribution. Playing behind a beaten pack/ptb might force him to improve his passing and selection rather than just rest on his strengths in a lower division.
