We have had a BBQ breakfast in the Stanmore tube car park everytime we have gone by car, even when City had their solitary appearance there. Throwaway bbq`s and a few bottles at 9am set the stall for a cracking day and a great party atmosphere. Any more prepared to join us?

Can't get a space due to the number of people having barbecues and drinking lager.

I always park there - you have to be at the tube car park for 9am to get parked as it soon fills up. Other car parks in the area want 10-15 quid to park, whereas the tube park is only £2 for the day.

Seen many a BBQ on there with fans from different clubs.

Like `Sidestep` says get there early enough no problems.

There is, but it will be private car parks by then. Wetherspoons on Stanmore main street at regular wetherspoon prices as well!! Tubes every 10 mins and coming back, you are heading away from the crowds so can get away from Stanmore quickly and onto the M1.

I'm parking at Stanmore again. Think I paid a tenner for parking last time. The tube car park sounds great but the getting there for 9am not so much.......what time are you setting off to get there for that time

We are going down on the Friday and staying till Sunday. We are using parkatmyhouse.com to park. £30 for the 3 days and right next to Stanmore tube.

We'll leave at about 6ish. Once we park up, we will head off to Nero's for coffee and a bite to eat; gargle at Wetherspoons and lunch at Prezzo, before taking tube at 1ish to Wembley.

Yep, it worked out great the year we went down for the Wigan/Leeds final, still impressed by how quickly we got home from leaving the stadium.

I have done that, parked on a drive directly opposite Canons Park tube station - which is 3 stops from Wembley! Only cost £5

Me too. Less than half a mile from Stanmore and a cost of only £10 for both Saturday and Sunday.

Good website i can highly recommend it, I've just booked a spot at a house 5mins from the station for £6 because I don't think I'll get there in time to get a spot at the station either.

Well worth registering with them. 5 minutes to set up and a massive choice of places to park. We're 3 minutes walk from Stanmore station. Would certainly recommend them as it takes away the worry of not getting a parking space.
