not been impressed by manu in the 3 games ive seen him play so far, looks hardly the big loss many fans claimed he would be!

Unless he was doing the splits not sure how it would get up there like. Plus, not an awful lot of claret paint on the pitch.

He doesn't seem to have been performing, although he has been in the opta team of the week for the past fortnight so that would suggest otherwise. We all know what's he's capable of though and I'm sure most would agree he is a loss, a loss we can however live with.

Baring last season where he had a great season, the previous seasons ive always said he never does it enough. One good half then 3 quiet games. Although id still like him at hull (based on last seasons for) i dont think he is a huge loss. I think we miss moa more than we miss manu

yes and hes not a loose man at all if u haven't got manu running out wide in 2nd row then u masewell not play him

Really don't understand why Brown's playing Manu through the middle, it's his strength, footwork & offloading when running out wide that make him a player.

The only reason I can think of is Saints really haven't got the players out wide any more to capitalize on Manu's offloads . Lomax wasn't really effective linking in but can see why Brown played him there .

But as others have said, if you're not going to use him for what he's best at, why bother?

Also, I thought Percival was possibly their best tonight, and he did indeed make the most of Manu's rare offloads wider out. If they'd done more of that they might have been in with a chance.

Agreed. The thing about Manu was his ability to create something from nothing, a rare commodity and one only Briscoe has in our current squad IMO.

You guys know best... it's driving us mad that Brown is playing Manu up the middle. He's shown a few glimpses of what he can do but he's just being used completely wrong.

I think Shannon is showing some creativity from nothing, as is Azza off the bench.
