With 2 sl friendlys played today in which leeds drew a near 10k crown at a full priced admission game do you think its maybe something we should look at ? I know City were at home today so we would have to have played tomorrow or new years day , an early chance to see new players, a chance for kids to wear the new shirts or even just to watch a game of rugby . A game against the dobbins with good price for a family pass would be a good idea.

Was thinking today a regular fixture v Cas would be the obvious Boxing Day game for us. Would be great for fans, but ultimately meaningless, so would depend on the coaching staff's preference IMO.

Deffo, I used to love the boxing day events and look forward to them with a few pints along the way . if they played citys match first then an hour later the FC game based on same tickets it could fill the stadium for both games maybe??
i dunno what the logistics would be or the in fighting issues but yeah miss those fixtures...

I think it would have to be negotiated around city due to it being during the football season so this year would be a new years day game at the kc . I think it would have to be a derby game or even against leeds just to entice the crwds in .
I dont know if it would be possible but boxing day or new year v Rovers at £15ish with split gates and I could see a massive turn out

If it was Cas, we could alternate home and away depending on City. We wouldn't get Leeds, their fixture v Wakefield is established.

Let the players enjoy Christmas with their families like the rest of us, they don't need to be playing on Boxing day.

Agree with leeds Mrs B . Cas would be a good fixture but on a personal point of view I would pay to see us play dockers just watch an FC Game at the minute
