Picks itself IMO. Turner and Ellis/Seymour to miss out.

Still no O'Carroll the crock!

Why play players if they are not 100% fit .We have seen the out come of that over the passed
few years .Then the injury get worst and the player is out for nearly all of the season .We have
a coach now who think that if a is player not 100% there don't play.Good of him

bit early to write him off just yet...however I would hope Hull are searching for another prop, even on a temporary 1 year deal, as we only need 1 more prop to get injured and we will really struggle.

We have Aspinwall, Green, Burnett and Bowden.

No need to panic yet.

I'd be worried if we had to rely on Burnett for any length of time.

Aspinwall I'm happy with and I think that Green deserves a shot if we had another injury, but I think that this would be atleast a year too soon for Bowden and I would not like to have to rely on Burnett at prop because I do not rate him there.

Really gutted for O'Carroll, hope he gets back next week and stays fit for a while.

Not writing him off but he was injured most of last year at Wigan and now he's started off injured with us too.

It would worry me if it was the same injury which kept him out at Wigan

thought it was mentioned in interview with Peter Gentle it was O Carrolls back, he injured it in training. ??

I was concerned when we signed O'Caroll and quite vocal about it, however I have been happy with his performance and I am not too concerned about his injury at this stage, sounds like normal bumps & twists any of the lads can pick up.

The injury he has was from trying to lift too much in the gym. Not your average bump or twist, simply showing off in the weights room and came a second best to a bench press.

I remember the last new signing who missed the start of the season after attempting to show off in the gym. Worked out quite well in the end.

This is twice he's had the same injury by doing the same thing.

Why wasn't O'Carroll eased back into training. It seems stupid to let a player coming back from a recurring injury go hell for leather in the gym.

Especially when that's how he got injured in the first place.
