Hi guys, I have a job interview next week that if I am successful will mean working three on three off so I wont be able to make some Sunday games. I bought a season pass before I knew about this job and so my question is will fc refund me my season ticket money ?

You can try the club but they have no obligation to give a refund.

last year i found out i had to go into hospital for an op,after i had bought my season pass,when i informed hullfc,they refunded me no bother,they didn`t even charge admin fees.

working for a major retail company, that isn't true, if the op has kept his receipt or has proof of purchase he or she are entitled to a full refund, that goes with any products you buy.

Do you actually need the recipt? its not asthough there isnt enough identifying information on the pass for them to ensure it is yours (customer numbers, allocated seat etc), coupled with the fact there not exactly avaliable anywhere else.

no, was just generalising, most retailers will want a receipt as proof of purchase, depending on how you paid for the pass, if by credit card, the club will have your details so i wouldnt think a receipt would be of importance just proof of id, unless you paid with cash then i would expect a receipt is required

Not quite right, you are entitled to a full refund if the product if faulty, however if you have just changed your mind about the purchase there is no obligation to give a refund, just an exchange/credit note.

Most companies will however give you a refund, but this is more of a good will gesture rather than an obligation. Notable exceptions to this are Argos and HMV, which will only refund if a product is faulty.

There is no legal entitlment to a refund unless the product or service purchased is defective or not supplied. Its up to the vendors descression if a refund is to be offered or not.

sorry, should've made myself clearer, faulty products with receipt or proof of purchase, you can have refund or exchange, (within a year of receipt where i work)

buying a product and simply changing your mind because you don't like or want the product, if after 28 days, then no refund

Similar thing happened to me last year - different reason, but needed to return a pass for full refund. At first they said I needed the loose document that slides
in the pass cover, but even though I didn't have that they refunded me in full. They were very helpful!!!

Good to hear the club have previously given refunds, fingers crossed for you interview and if you get it hopefully you will get a refund on your pass.
