Most likely just a rumour but does anybody know about Lee Radford having a warm up bout last night?

yeh he got beat apparently

So I was told, not pretty but sure someone will know the full story. Friend said it was on Greatfield against a local lad.

Got beat first round , got told it was against a polish kid . Not sure if true though .

Was there...........The fight lasted 25 seconds. Got it recorded on my phone. Radders didnt seem 'ready' for the fight. We all know how tough he is (KR fans...... go and ask Vella)..... but he just seemed to walk into a barrage of flying fists from the second the bell rang. The apparently very seasoned opponent looked to be well up for a fight. Radders was knocked down in about 3 seconds, seemed to shake that off as a lucky punch, and then the second he was on his feet, the other guy was on him again. Fast and brutal. I'll say again, Lee didnt seem his usaual self last night. Anyway...... It wasnt an actual knockout that ended the bout.....It was th cut on Lee's face and the referee had no choice to stop it!
I think the other fella was from Leeds.... Not sure?????

Big difference from having a one on one fight in a ring than having a p****d up fight in a pub!

Mo matter how big and tough they are on the pitch and hard amongst each other, against a proper boxer they would all get destroyed. Most have the strength to knock someone clean out granted.... But any kind of fight duration would be a different kettle of fish.

Dont think Radford is new to boxing and a friend of mine mentioned he has considered taking it up for quite some time. Had one FC fan on the VT recently telling us how all the bouncers in Hull are terrified of him and someone on this thread bringing up a mix up with Mick Vella.

Fair few ex RL players has done really well, Mundine for example.
