While i,m pleased that it looks like Moa is staying, i,m a bit disappointed that the deal looks like it,s only for 2 years, would of preferred a 3/4 year deal myself

Agreed, I think MOA has proved his worth and he is now an established squad member who can only get better IMO. 3 or 4 year deal would be ideal due to his young age. He was raw when he came and overweight but he has worked hard and he's a quick learner. I think its players like Moa, Briscoe and Westerman who we should be building a team around and looking to the future.

I always find this an odd thing to say.

It either suggests a player is crap and literally can only improve. Or it suggests he will never make a mistake.

OT, Moa should be kepts as a priority.

Quite the contrary, I believe its Sam rep who has stated only a 2 year because he has made it clear that at some point he would like to go to Oz to play and as such in 2 years he will still be young enough to have a few seasons in the NRL after FC, He may well end up being a one club player who knows but given the change in circumstances in the NRL he is IMO being intelligent and not tying himself down for too long but in the other hand giving a decent commitment in 2 years...

I do know The Roosters and Coast have been sniffing though

I understand the reasons why he only wants a 2 year deal, its purely from an FC supporters point of view that i would like him to sign for a longer period.

fantastic news and even though sam isnt a big name overseas players he performs week in week out and brings hell of alot to the team and adds great value. would be great to have him for 3/4 years but for him a 2 year deal is good and i just think he will just get better and better with age
