Am visiting Perpignan this coming week to see the mighty Hull Fc.

I'm staying 3 days so am seeking suggestions of what's of interest both locally and regionally.

Any suggestions please ?

If you want a saying on the coast, head to Argeles. Beautiful White sands, lots of top restaurants and excellent wine. Can also recommend Coillure. A small harbour village with narrow windy streets.

Perpignan itself is a nice place and you can easily spend a day watch the world go by the various cafes.

It depends if you're driving, if you are Carcassonne is a must, solely for the medieval castle.
Canet Plage is a local bus away, it's about 6 Euros return if I remember, there's a very flat beach with plenty of eateries.
As MCS said Collioure a very nice village to visit.

Simples - train to Carcassone a MUST MUST . 1 hour train ish and spend all day exploring castle. Makes York look like Paull fortress. There are loads great bars in Castle and cafes serving local casserole to die for.
Canet Plage is short bus ride or cheap taxi and that is a great night as well as bars all down the prom.
Perpignan not too bad for night out but 2 nights out is too much.
Get the bus to the ground outside the main castle ish type place , I even walked back from the ground last year.

if you like the great outdoors and have transport get into the pyrenees - might even get as far as andorra, great scenery
i would also spend another day exploring the coast
or take a train into barcelona - one of the best cities in the world
loads of options, its a great part of the world

Watch out for the dog.
