I agree that his effort can't be faulted, but I expected a more complete player when we signed him. I see little difference between him and Craig Hall, both good with ball in hand, but a liability in defence.

im sorry but to say try lynn your way of the mark no way near standard as yet and not seen anything to suggest so as well , yes i agree about sharpe getting drawn in but as already said is left exposed a hell of a lot , his work rate is good getting involved as does briscoe you dont get player of the year at a club if your a duffer , needs time to settle same as a few others new to the club .

Agree big fan of Whitings but not been too good for two games. Sharp's catch attempt was poor for their first try but 4 or 5 on 1 wasn't his fault.

The high ball he dropped was his one mistake, why did he feel the need to jump?

It will come with Shard and Whiting. Don't forget, they are still a reletivley new partnership. We are comparing them to our left side in Yeamo and Briscoe who both have international representation and have been playing with each other for some time now.

Most of the problem for me is Long defending outside of Whiting, Rich is one of the best readers of an attacking play but he hasn't a chance when he's got long outside him.

Long gave Whiting a major rollocking after Cas's las try. Whiting's one of my favourite players, but he's been out of form since his move back to centre.
We were left short of numbers several times on the right too, which didn't help.
But Sharp seems to be getting worse - why on earth did he jump for that catch? And his positioning is terrible. Shame because physically, he looks good - quick, strong and great movement. He's got potential. I hope he improves soon, because right now our RHS is an easy target.

Correct Locko why the guy defending 3 in is getting the flack I don't know it looks like Whitings job at the minute is stopping the back rowers targeting Longy which then leaves Longy and Sharpy exposed on the outside it can't help either when the backrower defending that side keeps getting swopped around
