this has the potential to be an epic game. both sides on the up, both putting in mighty defensive stints in their first games and showing a clinical edge when chances come. don't expect too many points, especially if the weather is still iffy but for a purists match up, it'll be up there with the best games this season, because the sides are so well matched. can see this being very close, hull by 6 or so for me.
oh and a pretty big crowd, possibly topping 16k

i agree, i think it is going to be a very good game with not much between the 2 sides. i believe hull fc will be a very tough team to visit this season so any result at the kc for any team will be a good result.

having said that i think we are both on the up (as previously said) and i wouldnt be suprised to see the giants snatch victory

This game will be a good benchmark for us. Huddersfield looked extremely organised - as if they'd not had an off season in fact and were just starting where they finished off in 3rd place. Should be a great forward battle. Need a plan to shut down Brett Hodgson and Brown who both looked in good nick yesterday I thought.

Hudds will be a lot harder then Saints.

Think we'll win but be a close one.

It'll certainly be a big test for us and it's important we back up tonight's great win with another good performance.

As for the attendance, I think 14,500 is very achievable.

Will be a tough game but a game we must win if we are to make anything of the season. We need to make the KC a fortress and i expect another impressive display and another two points.

Personally I think it will be very difficult. I was really confident of a result tonight but next week I'm not so sure.

I'm stuck at work and havn't been able to watch the game yet but it sounds like we had it pretty easy once we had weathered the early storm. Next week will be a real test of our credentials.

One major area of improvment from last nights game has to be displine, was poor at times and nearly allowed Saints back in the game, Tickle was one of the mian culprits this has to be improved on.

Will be a very big challenge...However if we approach the game with the same attitude and dedication we will get the result..

Hudds match will be really tough to call, two very even matched teams. Brown and Hodgson are the key players for them but if we play like we did last night then I fancy us to take it by 6-8 points.

Again result is not the most important factor in this coming game. To see the team come out and play with 100% commitment will be enough for me. Early season form is not important in the grand scheme of the season.
Hudds are a good defensive outfit who rely on other teams making mistakes to score. Dont think it will be a great spectactle with defenses reigning.

You have got to be favourites for this game. Your strength is your pack and we have lost one prop Mason and moved Raleigh from second row to prop for the season. Leaves us with two first choice props Griffin and Crabtree.

Should mean a first start for larne Patrick who again is a converted second row.

If you get a roll on in the forwards we may be in for a beating. If we can hold you it will be a close game.

Partly depends on our discipline and kicking game. If we can nove your pack around and tire them out there will be gaps for Robinson and Lunt ( the Next England hooker)

Got to say I was very impressed with Lunt on Firday, it was the first time I have seen him looks a very intelligent player.

Was impressed with both our hookers on Saturday though, Berrigan looked very good, working hard and breaking the line a couple of times, thought Houghton injected some energy and made some good yards when he came on, should be a good battle.

We have to be confident after last night and being at home though, very tight game though.

Was impressed with Lunt. Think it will be a very good game, conditions permitting. Are you at full strength? We didn't seem to pick any injuries up last night (assuming Tickle's eye will be OK) - just Calderwood unavailable yesterday. Looking forward to seeing O'Meley vs Crabtree.

Our problems are at prop where we were light at the begining of the season and have now lost Mason.

We can watch thier match on tape to asess but they cant watch ours....lol.

No he doesnt....our pack BITCHED Sts pack and should be the same.....Crabtree to join Fozzard in O'Meleys bitched club.

We the fans have a lot of say in the result, we need to sing from start to finish to make sure the team know's we are the 18th man, mentioned last night after the match how barmy we are so lets take it up a notch on friday.

If we continue to play the kind of rugby we are doing we can pick up another two points.

Thought O'meley put some bone crunching tackles in and you could see the Saints forwards struggle to get over them on a good few occasions.

Also think Cusack proved a few of his doubters wrong last night. Love Moa and glad we've got him, but you dont mess about with a winning team especially when no one played poorly.
