I've seen this on other boards so thought i'd bring it on here....

I'm sure we've done it before but fancied another crack!

What are your 3 best and worst moment supporting FC? I've not included the Cup win in 2005 as it's a no-brainer!!


BEST

1)Promotion at the McAlpine in 1997. Gary Lester kicking the ball in the air after scoring a crucial try will live with me forever. (the derby win at Caravan Park that season was pretty special too)

2)Sheffield away at the start of 1998. Thousands singing 'FC ARE BACK'....awesome!

3)Leeds away in 2006 was a fantastic win. Blacklocks try in the final minutes was incredible...beer flying everywhere in the away end. It was as if he was treading water as Donald came across! I later bought this game on DVD from the Headlingley shop...the woman on the counter thought i was mental until i explained i was a Hull fan!



WORST
1)Wigan at home in the Challenge Cup in 1994. Eastwood missing that penalty after we'd led 20 nil....gutted watching the Wiiiigin fans celebrating.

2)The 1999 season was a disgrace both on and off the field. I remember London thrashing us at home that year....The opening game of the campaign at Wigan. Gilmour scored a hattrick and I got salmonella from the hotdogs at Central Park!!!

3) Losing a Challenge Cup 1/4 final to Widnes in 1996 20 nil!...was so sure we could make it to Wembley that year....gutted!

Another Best was Sts away on a Thursday night in 2006 when we won 27-26.....what a trip home that was....Wolfies Bus was rocking and i still felt shocking friday afternoon when i went to work.

2. Beating Hunslet 53-0 in 1988, my first game
3. Night games at the boulevard, generated a special atmosphere.

Too many worst memories, wouldnt know where to start.

Warrington in play-offsin 2005 after they had beat us at home the wk before and thier fans was giving it loads...........totally tw4tted them and Joey Johns.

The meetings in Charlestone trying to save the club.

My first ever game on the funbus

Hell of a game to debut on.......i was reminded that i was dancing down the aisle with a full pork-pie in my mouth..(and not a family sized one) on the way back....cracking game and trip.

Afternoon shift pfft . You should have tried the morning one !!!

Best away game I've ever been to. Everything else was downhill from there

1) 78 season were fc went 2 win 27 games out of 27

2) winning the last ever bbc floodlit trophy against hull kr

3) winning challenge cup in 2005 against leeds

1) gettin beat 2 dobbins in 80 at wembley

2) glen casey being in charge at fc

3) leaving boulevard

Best (not including Cardiff)

1) 2005 Challenge cup semi against saints, best performance ive ever seen from an FC side

2) Hammering Saints at the KC, the game where Prescott went the full length after a Yeaman offload.

3) Warrington play off game where we sent Joey home!

Worst

1) The Paul Cooke Fiasco

Thats a bit harsh......would rate Walsh and Casey worse than him

1999 season in general. What a team of wasters, always in Waterfront no matter what score..
2000 Cup semi at the then McAlpine - not for on the pitch reasons unfortunately! A dark day for my club.
