Yeah that was very brave of him to start throwing punches at a bloke that is already involved in a scuffle! It was all the more pleasing to see his face at the end of the game when yet again it ended in defeat

Galea and Newton didn't have the bottle to get involved.

Ill lay money Calderwood can't cut any mustard

We were talking about Calderwood during the game and I said then that I thought he'd been one of out best players this year and in my opinion the club should seriously look at sitting down with him and extending his contract.

He's only 27, has bags of top level experience and he's English. With Raynor coming to the end of his career we should be looking at securing his services on a longer deal now rather than waiting until the end of next season when he's attracted the interest of other big clubs.

A bit like Vella then.

Good shout. Since we're using up the quota on the pack, makes sense to sign up a proven British winger.
