You must have the worst kicking game of any team in the league, lost count of how many times it went down the fullback or wingers throat. the kick is a great tactic to turn the players around and make the forwards get off their own line, another thing that your coach cant implement

THe worst kick was the penalty they had in their own 20 and kicked it straight into foxys hands. Pure class!!

Whilst I agree, last night wasn't ever going to be easy. Both KR's wingers dropped back on the last leaving about 19 meters in between players to aim for. It's far worse when teams like Leeds only have 1 winger and a FB to aim for and we manage to pick them out every kick.

Our kicking game is awful at times and one thing that really puzzled me was the fact that briscoe went of early doors with his injury so they brought fitzhenry on, now i'm no coach but surly my intensions if i was the kicker for hull would be to put a kick up that will come back down with snow on it to test fitzy out but i don't think we bothered apart from sending it down his throat everytime.

Aswell as a 40/20? TBF I thought we put some decent kicks in last night but on the whole was still below where we want it to be.

2 tries from kicks , 3 if whiting had grounded it and a 40/20 doesn't sound like a poor kicking game to me

Rovers long kicking game was very good but their short kicking game, in particular Dobsons, was awful. Hull on the other hand scored 2 tries from precision short kicks and gained a 40/20.

Nothing in it imo, and the final scoreline kinda backs that up.

That would require tactical nous and an ability to react to in-game situations, our 'coach' does not have these skills.

I was impressed with Tansey's willingness to kick though, obviously there was the wild one that went out on the full but a full back who can join the line and has a decent kick up his sleeve could prove to be a potent weapon in the future.

The little kick over the top by Berro just about summed up our luck with the bounce of the ball

Indeed they did. But it was a nothing kick really and Whitings slip was more relevant to the try been scored than the precision of the kick.

Our long distance kicking game needs a lot of improvement and have never had a decent one since Jason Smith

But i actually think our short kicking game ( in oppositions 20 ) is quite good

this is something we have lacked since the likes of mcmenemy swain cooke have left we just haven't had the options available
