Me and a mate were discussing our recruitment policy, then got thinking of players that we signed, only to play a handful of games for the black and whites for whatever reason. We didn't count youngsters brought in from the academy or loan signings. Here's a few from the last few years:

| Ryan Benjafield has to be the worst, they hyped him up to be a potentially top class player!
the board obviously got dodgy info on that one, like the time Peter Reid signed some Argentinian for a few million on the basis of a video sent by his agent...it turned out the video was actually clips of different games spliced together of the player playing in the argentinian 2nd/3rd division!

I thought Faumuina actually signed with us at the end of the NRL season, rather than being loaned out by them. In the same way Andrew Johns joined Wire? |
