is this a career threatening injury as he was out most of last season with his knee hes had all the off season to recover and still hes struggling,just seems a long time
i hope he gets back soon as he was one of my favourite players

I bet Shaun Briscoe would buy out his contract to return to us......His current employers are a bit strict with his 'spare time'



Plus......The man that let him go there (or decided it was Briscoe for salary cap axe) has now gone. Probably one of Peter Sharps worst decisions



I watched the KR game last night.......Apart from a 'wayward pass', Briscoe was faultless



Just to add.......I wouldn't want to lose Motu, and Skinny is doing a fine job at the moment.....its just that we ALL KNOW what we lost!!!!

Motu has had another setback on his knee..
They hoping for a run out soon, But keeps getting reactions.. I for one hope this isnt career threatening

His leg was strapped up last week and he was limping badly but i saw him on wednesday and the strapping was off and he was walking fine.
Hopefully he will be back in a couple of weeks.

Here Here, fwiw I tend to think that we can't afford to have a player of either of there capabilities sat in the stands and if given the option i would take Motu every time.
Guess I have just contradicted myself but what the hell

I'd love him back, brilliant player. A poster on another site (KR fan) reckons Peter Sharp fought tooth and nail to keep him but it was down to the board. They reckoned we would be OK with Motu and offered Shaun a reduced contract. Don't know how true it is but the poster is a "normal' (if there is such a thing!) dobbin who normally talks sense, says he was doing some work at the club around that time.

I think I would take that with a pinch of salt TBH. Sharp picked Motu at fullback even when Briscoe was fit and I cant see Sharp fighting tooth and nail to keep a player who he doesnt pick!

End of the day Sharp wanted Motu as his fullback.

Hopefully he will make a full recovery from this injury...although I am a lil worried!

A few setbacks, hopefully he will be fit sooner rather than later to play.
