I think the new half needs to be youngish . Obviously still good enough but don't see the point in signing someone late 20s early 30s when we have just signed holdsworth who as bags of experience and so does Horne . If he is similar age we will also be replacing 2 halfs again in a few years . Chase would have been superb , not just in quality but age as well .

Maybe, for example, we will get a 30yr old (like Finch) for 1 season until we can sign a young half that will be with us for a number of years. |

We do have a great pack next year but they are mainly ball playing forwards who put the hard graft in, Lynch stays on the pitch and never gives up and Wattsy has a great off load on him, I've said it before and I know others have but I still think we're missing a wrecking ball type prop. |
