I thought Gentle did a good interview, he comes across as a top pro as he always does, what I liked the most though was the camera shots showing his emotion through the game, clearly he was as upset as us which imo is a very good sign.

Newsflash - the current squad isn't good enough and has got worse over the season due to injuries and players leaving. There's only so much any coach can do under those circumstances.

Id align this seasons to 2008 and 2009 where we had similar injury tales and players leaving, just have to compare how we finished them 2

Signing Fielden will do absolutely nothing for our street credibility. If he's not good enough for first team rugby at his present team, then he isn't good enough for us. We should have more ambition than to become a care home for past-it players.

I am like many putting alot on this guy sorting out a very average team but i do have to question the tactics we are playing and allowing young attacking players to leave and bringing in finished players. We are playing one man rugby same as last season, we are struggling for a half back and a kicker and we let Ellis go, whatever the reasons we need a kicker, we sign a player who is past his prime and is good at giving pens away
Players are leaving before the season is finished Turner Manu mentally not with us. We play without a stand off even though Whiting can fill this.

If true that Tickle and Moa are also off we have serious issues, We need to be informed of the players who are comming in to give the fans the belief that this team will be stronger . Patience is a very thin line...

Since Gentle took over there is no doubt Hull are more `watcheable' (less boring) most of the time
The downside for me is as a team we are very `soft' - no mongrel or agression

Ok, the Leeds game will be my 1 and only live Hull game I'll watch this season. I'm over on holiday from Sydney, been an FC fan for nearly 30 years. Whilst stood on the terraces on fri night, I mentioned to my Dad that the big difference between watching NRL and SL (Hull FC in particular) was the lack of aggression. We have no one who will rough the oppo up and take the game by the scruff. Take the Sharks Broncs game the other week, the hits and will/want to win was immense, Friday at Leeds, that was nonexistent. Until we sort this out, we'll win nothing!
