really respect the guy and feel sorry for him the way the season is panning out mckinnon leaving. 1 injury after another and then getting a full team together and get 2 season ending injuries he could come out 2nyt and say we had loads of injuries, journey wasnt great down to leeds or referee was taki mushrooms but he didnt.
most honest coach in superleague next year i believe will be good to see him with his squad then we can judge him upto now hes done a great job imo with what he has already got us playing with proper structures and good defence and in a better position then last year so far.

No the ref isnt to blame for this 1 we could have got back into it but poor decisions again halted that.
saying that though they was some really strange decisions from te sh**e in the middle but game was lost before we got on the pitch tbh

I agree, Gentle's brilliant. I can't remember him ever blaming the ref for anything (unlike the annoying elf-eared gremlin across the river) or anything else for that matter other than the teams performance. Top bloke.

I thought Gentle did a good interview, he comes across as a top pro as he always does, what I liked the most though was the camera shots showing his emotion through the game, clearly he was as upset as us which imo is a very good sign.

We'll find out about gentle the coach next season.

Too many people seem to think that the only reason we were crap over the last few seasons was because we had Agar as a coach. Newsflash - the current squad isn't good enough and has got worse over the season due to injuries and players leaving. There's only so much any coach can do under those circumstances.

Id align this seasons to 2008 and 2009 where we had similar injury tales and players leaving, just have to compare how we finished them 2

Signing Fielden will do absolutely nothing for our street credibility. If he's not good enough for first team rugby at his present team, then he isn't good enough for us. We should have more ambition than to become a care home for past-it players.

I am like many putting alot on this guy sorting out a very average team but i do have to question the tactics we are playing and allowing young attacking players to leave and bringing in finished players. We are playing one man rugby same as last season, we are struggling for a half back and a kicker and we let Ellis go, whatever the reasons we need a kicker, we sign a player who is past his prime and is good at giving pens away
Players are leaving before the season is finished Turner Manu mentally not with us. We play without a stand off even though Whiting can fill this.

If true that Tickle and Moa are also off we have serious issues, We need to be informed of the players who are comming in to give the fans the belief that this team will be stronger . Patience is a very thin line...
