liam fulton would certainly be a good realistic signing along with andy lynch and a good english winger broughton or mcgilvary possibly that top the recruitment off nicely.

No chance of getting McGillvary, recently signed a new long term contract and if Salford have any ambition, they wont sell Broughton, still has two years to run on his contract.

Quite excited about Bowden have heard some very good things about him, only started playing RL at about 14/15 so has done well with his devlopment, seems to have overtaken Aldous in the pecking order.

Seem to be weighted in favour of the backrow, gives up good backup for the firstteam.

I know exactly whet you mean. My only fear is that it all ends up as disappointing as the last 4 or 5. Its almost ingrained in me now.

That all aside a couple of questions for folks. When was Gleeson confirmed as leaving? Seems to me we still have one of the top centres in the British game on our books. All this talk of new centre seems futile with him, Turner, Yeaman, Crooks on the books not to mention possibly Whiting and Horne.
Plus on the subject of winger I fail to see the point of a overseas winger as its a waste of a cap spot imo (Best being an exception 10 yrs ago) Sharp is part of the squad and has had a rough deal from an under pressure coach. Another winger coming in is another person who has to gel. With 6 already out and at least that number coming in we have to think about the affects that has on the squad gelling and hitting the ground running. Stick with sharp and Briscoe and draft in the youngsters as opposed to a new player.

Is anyone has excited as me about next year, I know we all tend to get excited and have done for the last 4 years but then, well we dont have to into that again but somehow this seems like we actually have people at the club that want to build something.

When you have people like Andy Lynch wanting to come he must see something at the club. Yes I know we have not won a bean yet but it's great just to have the feel good factor back and the feeliing like the club could do something
