Briscoe hasn't had ONE good game. He had loads of good games in 2008/9/10 and 11. Saturday was his best performance this season.

A winger who will help the forwards out when coming out of his own 20, has the ability to break tackles and is more than adequate in defence. Goes missing?? Behave yourself. If you want an example of going missing, take a look at your own Centre. If you want an example of down right inability to catch, take a look at your own winger.

For Leeds first try, Briscoe was probably in the right place, but a player of his experiance should have been able to anticipate Leeds exemption from the forward pass rule.

Just admit it, he's average at best.

On the basis he has played for is country I doubt he could be classed as average.

Agreed, same with Sharp for Hall's. Outnumbered, they had the choice of the centre or winger and whichever they picked the other was almost certain to have a walk in.

The entire defence had, as it did for Hall's. If he'd stuck to the winger Ablett would have gone in and in a much more convertable position. As it was Sinfield missed from the touchline.

Charnley is the current form winger in the competition and Hall is world class.

Thought Halls was just very bad defence...Turner was pointing at sharp to say stay out as i have the man with the ball...sharp comes in and it was a easy walk in.......We do have problems with our wingers defending.

Turner might have had the man with the ball, but there were another 2 outside of him with only Sharp facing them. Had Sharp stayed out they would have still scored.

I'm not saying we don't have problems on the wings, but I don't think it's the wingers being out of position to blame, as we don't play man to man. When it's a case of multiple players being sucked in it's the system failing further infield rather than the winger IMO. They are doing what the system says they should in the situation, but they have too many men to cover for it to work without an error from the opposition.

As with my previous post, I'm not saying they perhaps couldn't have done a bit better, but in those situations so long as the opposition don't make a hash of things they should always score from those positions. At least on both occasions they were forced wider and Sinfield missed the conversions as a result.
