Could it be a three year deal, but realistically a two year deal with the third paid off?
Thought this was a common work around by clubs to attract overseas players.
This may have been previously covered on earlier thread.

"The halfback is the final piece of the puzzle for us and to get it over the line I feel like I need to sit in the room and talk to the player face to face," he told the Hull Daily Mail newspaper.
"It looks very promising and I think we can get it over the line but it is important to go there to meet the player.
"We need to sit down and talk.
"There are still a couple of options for us, we have two players we are talking to and I'm going there to get one over the line."
It is bad news for ex-Brisbane and Sharks playmaker Brett Seymour who had been working hard to cement Hull's No.7 jersey.
Gentle said he was looking for a "more natural scrum-half" to partner new recruit, former Canterbury Bulldogs playmaker Daniel Holdsworth.

Looks like this is going to happen then. A risk IMO, but which Aussie wouldn't be? You can't argue with what he's done in the game and the player he's been, but he's not the Scott Prince of a few years ago. I hope he's coming for the right reasons as, on his day, he probably would be the best 7 in the league (more to do with quality here).
But a 3 year deal is a bit much.

The Hull Daily Mail says that a deal with Prince "looks certain to be signed" (although they said that about Chase).
They say their sources in Australia indicate this has been in progress for around a month, that Prince has already agreed basic terms and that the meeting with Gentle is to sort out finer details.
Hopefully this is a two year deal with a third as an option in the club's favour.
