We've already got a young promising centre in Briscoe. We need an established centre for him to learn off. We can't expect to win with a team full of kids. There needs to be a good blend.

Look at Saints. Established players in their 1-13. They blood their youngsters accordingly. We seem to take chances with youngsters or potential players in our 1-13 and it doesn't seem to work.
1 - Motu Tony. Good FB, but in no way is he an established one.
3 - Todd Byrne. Utility back. Not a specialist centre.
7 - Chris Thorman. Not an established SH, and was a FB at the club we signed him from.
We even gave the 13 shirt to a second rower.

1-13 need to be proven players. The potential players can then be blooded accordingly. It's called making the shirt your own. You're supposed to earn it. Earn your position. Take the shirt off an already established player so you can call yourself established. To be the man you gotta beat the man, etc.
We've started this by signing Sean Long at 7. Now we need a 1 and a 3 (and possibly a 10 if Cusack leaves).

Get rid if Raynor you are having a laugh, 1 BRISCOE is a centre 2 Tansey Fullback or centre and Hall not in Raynors league. Keep them all.

Greseque is currently the best French player IMO, i think it's ridiculous he doesn't play for Catalans and when he does play for Pia, it's like he's a one man team. He is prone to injuries but could do a great job for us if our pack was firing.
