If you like trains and are not bothered about the longer journey then have a look at Eurostar to Paris and the high speedTGV from Paris to Perpignan
Book early enough could save you some money
No idea of the fares for that time but they will be in euros so bit more of an advantage on the exchange

Agreed, the one we would have picked probably
GB Police, York Acorn, London Chargers or Oulton Raiders v Hull FC
Avoided London and Bradford.

York will be a decent trip out.

Wonder if York Acorn get through the tie will be played at York community stadium. Could Oulton play at Hunslets ground too?

All up in the air mate, innit.
At least the RL are consistent.
It's a mess from the start.

| Not ideal really given we have no pre season games. Do you play the kids and go into the 1st game cold or play the first team who will (should) run tilt and won't have had a proper hit out going into the seas9n

We wouldn’t be able to take any fans there, as Rovers will sell out their usual 100,000 ticket allocation.

| I like a amateur team
We have injuries from training never mind playing York in the Cup like dobbins will be and having to put out a strong team
I like the idea of resting players even at this stage

| Do we use first teamers in the cup to give them match fitness, but risk injury, or do we go with the Reserves? Difficult one

I'd be looking at a mixture of both, something like
Moy
Briscoe
Westerman
Litten
Barron
Kemp
Charles
Fash
Burough
Aydin
Lane
Staveley
Gardinier
Balmforth
Salaibo
Laidlaw
Jebson
Keeps the likes of Sezer and Asiata from injury risk with some seasoned SL players and young players with SL experience under their belt in the team.

Doubt Fash or Litten will be fit for this game. Thought they both have close season injuries?
Other than that, I agree with the general make up of the team. With the new disciplinary system, we don’t want to be picking up any additional points from this game. Hopefully no injuries too.

I wasn't sure about Fash and litten, if they dont make it look at bringing in Chamberlain and Kirby. One benefit of last season will hopefully bear fruit this season with the likes of Kirby, Charles, Moy, the 2 young wingers etc... can slot in to the side with some super league experience under their belts.

| This CC draw is a god send even early season
Dobbins will have to field a full strength v York whilst we can rest those 3-4 players that are still carrying those knocks that players usually carry etc

It is a god send your right, aswell as an early round cup game it'll probably be the only game that the first team play before the season starts, so yes you'd expect us to go pretty much full strength, and get a tough match too
Fc will be away at an amateur team, so your game will probably be more like a full on training session, obviously you'll progress through but I'm not sure how much fc will get out of the game in terms of it getting your lads battle hardened.

Obviously with the cancellation of the Doncaster game too I do think we'll go in a little bit undercooked. But with us playing Cats away and Wigan at home, it's two games where we probably wouldn't be expected to win anyway. Trying not to be negative, on the flip side it's obviously the best time to play and maybe surprise them.
We'll probably see the first choice 17 against Cas in Westys testimonial, and then use the Cup game to see the fringe first teamers featuring heavily.

| I don't mind the draw, but maybe superleague clubs shouldn't be seeded, that way you still might get super League clubs playing each other early on and champ clubs have a better chance of progressing to the 4th/5th rounds
