Although the majority of people present thought he was the stand out player on the night and as such most are happier to see that he is back in the fold helping us mount a charge up the table .

I've always been a fan of Horne, but I can see his abilities for what they are, and they are certainly not world class (hence he hasn't played for GB many times), I wasn't there on Friday, no, but that doesn't mean I cannot question the label as "world class", especially against a poor Crusaders side.

3, the MOM voting thread all show that they all have horne in their top three players that night so maybe 9 out of 10 cats cant be wrong Standee??

I can understand you must be gutted not being able to visit the KC very often and i can see that frustration in your posts however those who were there saw a massively improved display by a Richard Horne that looked back to his best almost, fully fit and taking the line on with a great short kicking game and some lovely show and gos so all in all 99% of those cats mentioned are extremely happy to have one of the clubs home grown crown jewels back on the park and playing for the club they pay good money to support week in week out and doing what he does best...

You really are an idiot, I posted at the start of the season that I have a pass, I've been away for a week. Richard Horne is NOT world class, no matter which week he plays, most FC fans would agree. He is a GOOD player but he is not World Class. Attack me all you want, you've exposed yourself as a liar and a total fool in the last few months. He may have mad a MOTM performance, and I am happy he did, but again, that does not make him world class.

i think Horne had a great match and it was nice to see him back to his best (or nearly) and if he plays this week against Wigan like he did last term we should be a lot closer given he was a one man war against wigan away last time around , at least this time we shall have fit halves for the game and a full bench to choose from ...

I'm as big a fan of Horne as anyone, and have defended him on here any number of times. I've watched him play since he broke onto the scene - and yes I mean 'live' at plenty of games before you bring that up. He's an excellent player and has been a fantastic servant to the club, but I'd question whether he has ever been truly world class even at the height of his abilities.

That aside, I'm glad to hear that he's looking good so far and hopefully on the way back to his best. All he needs now is a good run of luck with injuries...

Agree 100% Kosh, and that is what I was driving at, Richard is a very reliable player with talent and skill, on occasion with the right people around him he does some fairly wonderful things. But he is never going to get hold of a game and turn it around. As you say, we all hope he stays injury free and can play his essential part in our squad.

We don't need world class half backs, we need good quality halfs who can stay fit. horne played well on Friday but I doubt his ability to stay fit.

Really hope Horney can prove me wrong but I won't hold my breath.

Remember he has started the last few seasons in good form but eventually ended up off the radar.

Fox is in a poor run of form, Richard Horne has given your club a good 12 years of service. Horne only has to blink wrong and he's a has been who shouldn't be anywhere near a first team jersey and should be let go from his contract. Well until you win every once in a while
