I'm personally not a fan of all this 'we've sold a staggering 8,000 passes' etc. We get told this every year but it doesn't make a difference to what we're all ultimately interested in which is what happens on the field in 27 rounds of Super League. Everybody in rugby league knows how well supported we are but who's that bothered? We know we're amongst the best supporters in the league but so what? Rovers would love to sell 8,000 passes and play in front of 12,000 every week but if they finish in the top five in front of crowds of 7,500 and we finish 7th or 8th in front of 12,000 then who's happiest?

It's just news........ Some people moan that the club keeps them in the dark about things now people are moaning that they are keeping you informed. Can they win?? Maybe we should pull in a favour with the RFL and demand that we are awarded with the Grand Final and Wembley CC Win that people seem to think we are 'owed'!!!

Believe it or not some of us could not give a feck where you finish.

You could have swapped Rovers with a few teams in Airlie The Cats post and those fans of that club will still have been happier.

Well until this Mason turn of events (if indeed it represents a change in policy from RFL headquarters) the number of passes/amount of merchandise sold and overall financial stability was all very important. Much of the FC Board's focus has been on long-term investment in youth development and perhaps filling the coffers so that they could afford the odd high transfer fee to fight off competition from other clubs for emerging British talent at other clubs. The board has also invested a lot of time and energy in the development of a "young" British coach. Now I just wonder whether we shouldn't just be importing 13 South Sea Islanders - perhaps we could attract the full Kumuls team (would they count as federation trained as well) - at cheap wages and spending everything that remains on attracting Wayne Bennett here.

And heres me thinking it was only Rovers fans that are obessed at where we finish.

No. Never. People love to moan, I'm certain it's in some people's nature.

I'm just looking forward to my 'Mrs Barista' moment for if/when we win something and all my bookmarks may well make an appearance..... Or maybe i'll just revell in the celebrations of my club/coach/players winning something i've hoped for for years and being happy i supported them all the way through it!!

She is very good at it though and I'm sure it would be a tribute that would make you the envy of many other posters.
