ogre,moa,radders hopefully signed up for next season we could sign dowes and another cheapish prop or sign a good prop like grifiin ect and maybe give game time to the likes of green who already looks as though he can play 1st grade

He's dropped for this weeks match so won't be getting to 20 apps.

i woudnt like us to go and sign another overseas players tha dosent that could potentailly leave us with 8 or 9 overseas players which aint good. personally id give dowes a 1 year deal and look at signing mark flanagan or paul johnson or even both

The rules are 10 overseas players. Who cares if we use that to the max or not?? Not saying I would have either Vella nor Korkidas, but if an overseas player who would improve our squad became available then why shouldnt we go for him?? We're not breaking any rules....

Tbh fives enough, especially if clubs are having them as back up.

My mistake just seen the other thread regarding overseas players on the register.

As long as you comply with the club trained and fed trained you can have as many as you want providing you don't go over quota.

Players like Hansen, Lovgrove, Newton, Manu, Vella, Meli, Korkidas, Fisher count on neither list.

We need a 7 and Seymour is about the best that is avaialable.

Better than Long and younger.

Off the field in the past he has been a bit of bit of a nightmare, but he seems to have settled down and as long as we put clauses into his contract we should be OK.

Still need another foward IMO.

What to do with Obst?

Obst will play some part probably 2nd half back and 3rd hooker.

Jack Briscoe will probably be in front of Lineman, I agree about another forward don't know who though.

Looking at that list I think we need at least one forward, possibly two. It just depends on who is ready from the U20's.

Washbrook could well end up being retained but I doubt Burnett will. Preferrably a prop and a backrow is what we need.

I just don't see Washy fitting in our system.

He's well down the pecking order at 6 and 9.

Could be kept as a backrower, depends on what else is available.
