The word awkward depends on your POV.
It depends on which side of the arguement you are on.
Rovers want to hire the KC but FC block it until they get what they want, That is FC being awkward as far as Rovers are concerned.
FC as tenants want 'perks' to let Rovers use the KC but Rovers will only do it on their terms, That is Rovers being awkward as far as FC are concerned.

as someone posted earlier, the kc has no bad viewing points, so seating i'm not too fussed at, i trust pearson to do whats right for the club, even if it is as little as 80/20 70/30 split, fc wil gain when they wouldnt have received nothing if played at cp

For me its him taking the p 1ss. He cannot afford to run and develop his club so stamps his feet threatening to move into the kc unless the funding for his new stand comes through. Now that's approved he realises their capacity will be reduced so in order to make more money he now again suggests using our ground.
It's all about him getting his own way imo. I have no interest in east hull or that areas regeneration at tax payers expense and would not attend a derby at our ground if they are the home team, small minded maybe but I don't feel they would afford us the same luxury if the boot was on the other foot.

I think there's no "maybe" about it.

Rovers have around 6000 pass holders, who have already got their ticket for this game. So the grudge needs to be very careful how he behaves over this or he could lose a lot of money.

I look at it this way.
1, If the game is at CP then there is no way i would be going as no option for the north stand.
2, If it is at the KC, we get a decent view of the game regardless of the seating.

I know which option i prefer. If people are too petty to sit in a different location for an AWAY game then that is their choice. The crowd will still be around the 20k mark regardless.

At the end of the day Rovers are struggling financially and Hudgell has seen a way to hopefully make more money for his club,which he is perfectly within his rights to do. What terms and conditions are attached to the request are yet to be seen,Adam won't roll over and have his belly tickled that's for sure.

Thats a point, those 6000 have already paid, will he get anything back from the owners of CP for not having the game there otherwise he is effectively paying for them to sit in the KC.

No, you're quite correct, I doubt anyone will have thought about any of the ramifications of this at all.

I think the Rovers Season Pass Holders should contact one of the no win no fee solicitors about being mis sold a season pass for 14 home games.

What are you on about? Pearson has already said at the Fans Forum he'd be happy to accommodate you - if the terms were right.

No one in the wider community would have respect for Pearson if he wore a hairshirt and ran round the perimiter of the pitch all match just so he could say "yes". Everyone would expect the arrangement to be mutually beneficial or not on at all. A gimp is not a good look either.

In all seriousness though will Grudgell and the Club put on free transport to the KC for all his pass holders?
