I dont believe this!

1st I book flights back to the UK for the derby game in July, returning to Oz on Monday 23rd July. The the f'ing SL move the game to the monday night, so I move my flights so returning to Oz on the Wednesday. Now they've switch the fecking games around to pacify that little tw@ of a chairman at Rovers. So chances are I wont be going to any of the derby games now.

Why dont they just leave the fecking fixtures as is. I really hope someone drops a bomb on Caravan Park and then the game can be moved back to the KC

I'm in the same position mate, hopefully the new stand won't be built in time and they will have to play the game at the KC.

The new stand won't be built by July but it gives Rovers a chance to get all the temporary seating sorted. Win win for us, we will get more on a good friday than on a monday night so more money for the FC.

I dont understand the certainty on which people are basing this theory that more would attend the good friday game (having been made aware four months ago when the fixtures came out that we had no home game over the easter weekend) than an evening game on the first monday of the school holidays.

Because many people will still be working that day, and the day after.

If you've booked flights back to watch the Derby Craven Park is hardly a million miles away from the KC anyway.

I think a lot of this is moaning for the sake of it to be honest.

Even if it was at the other end of the country it would be an insignificant distance compared to the flight...............but, I personally don't want to set foot in Craven Park and I only live 3 miles away from it.

I'm shocked the RFL havent asked questions about the fact Rovers cannot host a SL game.

Why? They obviously can host it at Craven Park, they're just looking not to for commercial reasons.

Really fail to see what the fuss is about tbh.

Sunday 25th March is our next home Super League game if memory serves. Ironically, our opponents had to play 3 games last season at an alternative venue. Perhaps the RFL gave them a hard time for that?

After reading todays HDM, it says there switching the games.. we play at home on good friday and later on in the season, they have the match at craven park??

Many teams have had to move games away from their home ground for one reason or another.

We did it in the early 80s at least once. Given that we share a stadium we may need do it at some point in the future.
