19 appearances last season...and they only play 24 games....looks like the aukland vulcans did well to get him at all, considering he was injured abit last year...played 1 game for the vulcans vs cronulla last year |

Yeah, absolutely ripped it apart at the Warriors, kept out of 9 by the hooker we've signed and a FB. Only got a game at centre due to injuries and was nowhere near the team come finals time. He's now signed for the current NRL powerhouse that is the Raiders to be coached, in part, by Justin Morgan. 
Oh and by the way, he only left Hull 11 months ago so I doubt he's "nearly 2 years older than when he left". |

Coincidence , so has the Queen!!
Berrigan came to Hull as a marquee player. He never performed as that for whatever reason. Back in NZ or Oz he isn't a marquee player and he's playing with a whole teamful of top quality players which means he just needs to be competent at whatever role he's given. He just wasn't able in my view to fulfil the role that the club brought him here (and paid a lot of money) for. He turned out to be the wrong player at the wrong club at the wrong time and was disappointing. |

I suspect the timing of his injury had a hefty bearing on that. He played in 19 of their first 23 games of the season, then got injured in the build up to round 26 and didn't play again. |

He played because of injury to other players, he was a squad man, that's all. And I saw quite a few of his performances and they were hardly 'top drawer' he did a job for them, which is fair enough. But let's not make out he's a world beater now. |

19/23 isn't exactly filling in for injuries though is it mate, especially when almost all of them will have come at right centre, which is where he should have been played for us. |
