Will the east stand @ Poorhouse Lane be extended in 15 weeks?

I think he thinks it's a joke because he can't really see the point in what has happened.

I personally think the main reasons are

1. Time to get the golf stand moved
2. Hull/Rovers may have wanted more time to discuss the terms of using the KC
Hull may have wanted the Easter Game as terms for allowing KR the switch, with the later game being announced at the KC at a later date. i.e agreement in principal

You couldn't be more wrong I couldn't give two ****s what rover's do with their ground or if they played all their games at the KC and as far as I'm concerned you can take your golf stand and shove it up your aris for all I care.

This may well suit some, the vast majority infact. However as a season pas holder, having seen two away fixtures over the easter period and arranged holidays to avoid missing home games and having subsequently changed future work committments to ensure I could make the July "home" game (which itself had been changed from the previous Friday night), I feel a little let down by this.

It was always going affect some people. booked my hols around the July game but what can you do. This is still the most sensible option imo

A game changing by 3 days from the start to the end of a long weekend, fair enough. Thats why Sky are the pay masters.

Changing a game day by 3 MONTHS cannot be reasonable, when season ticket holders have paid in advance

Looks like FC have been accomodating in agreeing with a swap to give more time for the KR home match, common sense at last.

Still think they will end up at the KC in July , but this way there is more time to set it up.

This must benefit Hull,surely the crowd will be bigger for a bank holiday game than a mid weeker in July.

Very disappointment as Home in July a really looking forward to a Home KC derby game. Going to CP on a Monday night isn't anywhere near appealing. Fans make plans around fixtures so to change it now isn't fair on some fans.

I thin it's ideal. I never want to go to the Shi* Tip but at least this ones on Sky on a monday.

Result for me as i can now go this 1 on good friday...if it had stayed the same on a monday,that was me buggerd as would have been at work and we have set holidays

Good news about the change. I would assume that the cash strapped toxic dwarf thought that he would get a cheap (and lucrative for him) deal to use the KC at first but he has now had to back down when the SMC has clearly not rolled over and welcomed him with open arms. Otherwise why would the negotiations have taken so long? Even better, the return fixture on the Monday night might have been hard for me to get to. As it is on TV, I can cheerfully avoid the Poorhouse lane waste tip and avoid the inevitable rip off prices.

Pros; Warmer time to be stood in a wind tunnel.

Cons; The warmer weather will induce a greater smell from the East stand.

Seems a good outcome for Hull FC, which is the most important thing.

We'll get more in on Good Friday than a Monday night plus it means we won't have two home in a week in July which will probably boost the Salford attendance.

That said, it's still quite possible the July game will be at the KC anyway.

I am going to disagree with a couple of your points.

Firstly, it being a good outcome for Hull FC. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, originally there were 2 away games across Easter, therefore I would say I am not alone in making arrangements for that weekend. This will mean there will be a number of Hull FC fans who will now not be able to attend the home derby. This will not affect the rovers fans numbers.

Secondly, I reckon there will not be a massive difference in attendance from the July game to the good Friday game, perhaps for the reason stated above, it may well be down for good Friday. The July, Thursday night game in 2010 got over 20k.

That there is no voucher exchange this season compounds this.

Probably a good thing for most people, as instead of having to choose from the away games over Easter, you can go to the game at the KC on your pass and then to the Giants game on the Monday!

The July 2010 game had fewer attending than any home SL derby at that point. The Good Friday attendance last season was adversely affected by form. We'd lost seven from ten. In July 2010 we'd won seven from the previous ten.

Happy with the outcome, still a chance the 2nd game could be at the KC too.
