Reading his pieces in the Wail, I find him pretty intelligent and insightful. whether that be transferred to other players is a different thing. All coaches have to start somewhere, be it doncaster or hull.

I'm baffled nobody has mentioned Andy last in all of this. If we are promoting from within then he gets my vote for head coach. I know hes very highly regarded and is extremely passionate about the club. Would instantly earn the respect of the players and deserves a shot as much as anyone IMO. Worked wonders for saints last year appointing mike rush, in hindsight they probably regret not giving him the role full-time.
