Yes a great Hull FC player. I have enjoyed watching him play and great to see him at Wembley. I hope he and his family have a long and happy life back in Australia. Radford gave hom a chance and he took it and gave Hull FC some special moments.

Real shame Tuli is having to retire without the chance of pulling on the jersey again. Never the quickest, but had rhe power to barge his way over the line..

But above all, he put his heart and sole into playing for the team and the fans every time he stepped over the white line.

The loophole to stop clubs de-registering and then re-registering a player has been blocked as far as I can tell. That's why Cas claimed special dispensation.

At the start of the season I felt we might have seen the last of him, but then he seemed to be doing well and had played for the reserves and it looked like he might return after all. Real shame that there was another set back and that it has ended like this.

He will be warmly remembered by all Hull fans imo. He was taken from obscurity and given a chance and he took it with both hands. One of our best wingers of the SL era imo and gave us lots of great memories.

I'm not sure we need an exemption as it's a 'Live' cap. Which, I think, means the players that count towards it are, the top 25 earners at the club, 'at the given time', i.e., now, plus any one else who plays in a cap relevant game. Obviously minus any allowances or dispensations.

I really can't understand this thread. A few weeks ago it was common knowledge at Rovers that he had played his last match for FC. Pearson's hand had been forced and all that was required was a good reason to save everyone's face. Injuries provided this.

So you were aware Tuli had sustained yet another wrist injury, requiring surgery, and the possibility of being without him for three months according to scans, a few weeks before it happened.

I made no forecast in my post so you will have to select your own lottery numbers! All I said was that at the Rovers v Broncos match the story was circulating that for certain reasons outside of the game a certain FC player would never play for the club again. This had come true. Injuries was a smokescreen to hide the real reason.

I would have fully expected FC fans to have known this, what the real reason for the departure is and who had put pressure on Pearson. I am just amazed that so many appear to have been taken in by the cover story of injuries.

I am fairly sure the injuries have been genuine. I think we all know he has been battling other issues as well (although there seems to conflicting stories about what those issues actually are), but that doesn't mean the injuries are a lie. He did play for the reserves a few weeks ago.

He played against Wakey at Springhead Mr Zucchini but alas he never finished the game, probably were he picked up his latest wrist injury.

Amazing that a player who apparently was told he woyld not play again ended in couplr of reserve team games and a first team squad. For what.? For some cloak and dagger scenario? Do you really think the management of either clubs would be that bothered to go to such lengths? If you do I think it's you that has been taken in, Hook line and sinker.

You'd be taking about him like he was a saint in 100 years time, no matter the circumstances of his exit.
