It's been a bit of an inauspicious ending to his Hull career but at his best he was great for us.

There was a lot of people rubbishing (pun intended) our signing of him but it proved to be very astute.

I wish him well for the future.

Been a great player for us and will always be remembered as one of the legends for being involved in both of our Challenge Cup victories but after his recent troubles this is probably the best decision for player and club

I hope hes got a club lined up as i dont think hes finished yet but may just want to return home

Sad that it has ended in such a low key way. He was a much unheralded signing but made a big contribution to our back to back wins.

We have been discussing that we could be without an established first team front row at Catalan and it looked like cap space was holding back levy,Bienek and Langtree.
Looks like we will see at least two of them now this weekend with Jack Brown also getting a call

His was a great signing when he came for a dustman; we took a chance and he took it with aplomb. Sad to see him leave like this. For whatever reason but prime would be “cap”.

Yes a great Hull FC player. I have enjoyed watching him play and great to see him at Wembley. I hope he and his family have a long and happy life back in Australia. Radford gave hom a chance and he took it and gave Hull FC some special moments.

Real shame Tuli is having to retire without the chance of pulling on the jersey again. Never the quickest, but had rhe power to barge his way over the line..

Notable highlights include

His try at Wembley
His hat trick against rovers at magic
His leap to set up Carlos in the semi against Leeds.

But above all, he put his heart and sole into playing for the team and the fans every time he stepped over the white line.

I understand he will be a guest of the club on good Friday. He should get a resounding send off.

I wonder if we can salary cap exemption for Talanoa ala Luke Gale?

Would hope so given he has not played first team this season.

I'm sure that once he's de-registered he won't count on the cap for the rest of the year.

The loophole to stop clubs de-registering and then re-registering a player has been blocked as far as I can tell. That's why Cas claimed special dispensation.

At the start of the season I felt we might have seen the last of him, but then he seemed to be doing well and had played for the reserves and it looked like he might return after all. Real shame that there was another set back and that it has ended like this.

He will be warmly remembered by all Hull fans imo. He was taken from obscurity and given a chance and he took it with both hands. One of our best wingers of the SL era imo and gave us lots of great memories.
