| Well done Wayne Bennet and co for making a most disgraceful mockery of the shirt. Every single player involved will always be remembered as the worst GB squad in history. An absolute embarrassment.
Rant over.

Agreed, the shirt and brand should have been left where it was.
Great stuff by PNG and we just didn't want to know.
Mind you, it must fill the squad with confidence seeing a HB picked on the wing and an average second rower being flown accross to play centre.
We looked to be severely lacking in confidence and were beaten just as soon as Graham went off.
Absolutely awful and with the exception of Bateman and Lomax, it's hard to pick out too many decentish performances

| The squad looked tired, dis-interested and lacking in ideas to me.
Some players simply not up to it.
Players out of position does not help.
Well done to PNG their win was not a fluke, they played us off the park in the second half.

| We clutch at straws and pick 2 Aussies and PNG pick a kid from Barrow and Donny and still make us look second rate, embarrassing Bennett you clown.

| According to Wayne Bennett in the pre-match interview our defence is as good as any in the world . That's why we conceded 28 points to a team made up of Do caster and Barrow players.
As for Blake Austin . I actually started to feel sorry for him he was so bad.

Funnily enough we said same - awful squad composition 3 full backs , 2 wingers, 2 centres - leaving grace, watts walker at home, lee kershaw would have been better on wing than Austin , thought in addition to Bateman there wasn’t a great deal showing

| Where was the pride wearing the shirt , they shouldn’t Need anymore motivation that that to go out and get stuck in.
Hopefully this Will force sinfield and co to make changes which everyone could see apart from those in charge . Should be charged with bringing the GB name into disrepute the lot of em .

| One of my favourite players of all time for his guts, determination and will to win was Papa New Guinean, Stanley Gene. Today we saw a WHOLE team of Stanley Genes. Well done PNG. You made GB look what they are..........dandeLIONS
And I agree with Jonathan Davies, to drag Handley off holiday, fly him out there, and send then send him back home was abosolutly disgusting of Bennett.,

| It's unlikely anyone would pick any of the PNG team to replace their GB counterpart at their club.
It isn't the skill of the players.
It's a question of why they can't replicate it for GB, on this tour with this management team.

| Absolute dross I’m afraid. Bennett is taking the mick, strikes me as a bitter old man using GB to wind people up, sadly for us it’s blown up in his face which he deserves but we don’t.

Agree 100%, PT, but PNG had something that GB haven't shown at all in this four match series and that is the sheer desire to win. To a degree the Tongan side were similar, but far more skiliful in their execution than the Kumuls.
I've always been far more interested in club rugby than the international game and GB have done nothing to alter this view. I actually wanted the Kumuls to win once they started to dominate the game from the very start of the second half.

I don’t know about that one PT, some hard working big forwards and quick edges on show , definitely wouldn’t look out of place in SL, not sure about NRL as it’s far superior.

| Bennett chose to go for a squad of forwards, half backs and big backs to help out the forwards. The two wingers he chose to take are better known these days for taking their share of the hard drives in the first few tackles than their speed. It proved to be the wrong tactics. Great half backs work better with a great back line, great half backs do not make a great back line, they make an inexperienced back line who don't know how to play the position. He made the choices, he got it wrong.

| Really poor I'm afraid.
Not seen a worse GB team in 40 years of watching the sport.
Total shambles. Great CV down under but Bennett has to go.
What's Shaun Wane doing at the moment?

I agree on that performance but they are playing for lower level clubs where they definitely have been overlooked.
I liked them but if they'd been playing let's say even Wakefield at Belle Vue they wouldn't have looked as good.
They fully deserved the win but I hope Warrington play Austin on the wing against us with Hughes in centre and drop Clarke when we play them next season.

I agree with what you have posted.
However, I think the damage to the GB sides confidence was already done in the two defeats against the Kiwis and the loss to Tonga.
We looked very low on confidence last week and ready for the plane home yesterday and that was before the game began.
The loss to Graham was huge and without that we could have won but, the squad selected by Bennett & Co was poor and magnified with injuries
The GB brand needs forgetting until there are players from the other home nations that are really worthy of inclusion and if we are all honest with each other, there just aren't any.
Back in the day when there was an influx of decent talent from Welsh RU, the Lions was improved by having some of those players in the squad but now, its a step backwards.
Also, where was the threat going to come from, we had no pace whatsoever.

Just glad that there were no Wakey players out there.....
As for Bennett and his choices - absolute dire.
Would personally want him to stay in Aus and go forth and multiply

Unfortunately, their coach wouldn't be that daft but, we can hope
Although Hodgson scored an individual try, Clark has looked miles better at 9.
Maybe Bennet was sent in by the RFU to completely destroy international RL, he's certainly put us back 15years or so.

| Dreadful, dour and boring - if that was meant to be a celebration of the return of GB, it has backfired massively; Bennett will sack it off now, and suffer no consequences of the damage he has caused.
I'm just glad none of our lads were dragged over there to be used and abused by the horrible old get.
